Military Admissions and Financial Aid


How to Apply

  1. Call 703-941-2020 or email to speak with an Admissions Representative.

  2. Submit your admission application online.

  3. Request your transcripts. Official transcripts can be sent electronically through Parchment or physically mailed to the university. If sending official transcripts electronically, please have them sent to your Admission Officer’s email address or to If mailing transcripts, please have them sent to:

  4. Request Joint Service Transcript

  5. Work with your Enrollment Counselor to submit all additional application pieces.

  6. Apply for any military tuition discount or military dependent discount and any additional Military Transitional Resources.

  7. Apply for Financial Aid, such as Pell Grants and student loans.

  8. Contact Office of Advising at with questions.

  9. Apply for Tuition Assistance (Active Duty and Reservists).

  10. Apply for VA Benefits (Veterans, Active Duty, Reservists, and Dependents).

  11. Contact the Military Benefits Office at with questions.

  12. Register for classes.

  13. Pay tuition and Fees - (If your Military Benefits do not pay the school directly for the full cost of your tuition and fees, you must set up payment arrangements with the Business Office).
